On November 4, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and the hakims of the velayats. The meeting addressed issues related to the progress of work in the agricultural sector of the country and the implementation of the National Rural Program.
The first to speak was the hakim of Ahal velayat, S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.
As noted, necessary measures are currently being taken in the region's agricultural lands to harvest cotton without losses, use agricultural machinery to its full capacity, and ensure the uninterrupted transportation of raw cotton to reception points and cotton processing enterprises.
The wheat sowing is nearing completion in the region. Vegetative irrigation is being carried out on the sown areas to obtain seedlings, and care for the seedlings is being conducted in accordance with agrotechnical requirements.
In preparation for the nationwide tree planting campaign, work is currently underway to prepare seedlings and areas.
In addition, necessary measures are being taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of heating systems at social and residential facilities in the region.
The hakim also reported on preparations for the Harvest Festival celebrations and the pace of construction of social and production infrastructure facilities scheduled for commissioning this year under the National Rural Program.

As noted, all measures are being taken to harvest cotton to the last boll, with agricultural machinery being used efficiently and to its full capacity. The uninterrupted reception of raw cotton by specialized enterprises is ensured.
Wheat sowing continues in the velayat, with all necessary measures being taken to conduct this responsible season at a high level. Vegetative irrigation is being carried out on the sown areas.
In line with the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to turn the country into a blooming oasis, preparations for the nationwide tree planting campaign are underway in the region.

After hearing the information and focusing on the current seasonal campaigns in the agricultural sector, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to keep the organized and quality execution of these campaigns under control.
Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state noted that the optimal completion of sowing would ensure a rich grain harvest. In this regard, it was instructed to control the sowing in accordance with agrotechnical standards.
At the same time, it was instructed to keep the cotton harvesting campaign under strict control, ensure the high functionality of agricultural machinery, enterprises, and reception points, and timely settle accounts with producers and service institutions for the work done in the context of this year's cotton harvest and next year's wheat.
In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to take all measures to fully harvest the rice crop in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, as well as the sugar beet crop in Mary region. It was also instructed to comprehensively prepare for the nationwide tree planting campaign.
Separate instructions concerned the control over the organization of celebrations dedicated to the upcoming Harvest Festival in honor of the field workers.
Emphasizing the onset of cold weather, the head of state instructed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of heating systems in educational, cultural, administrative, public buildings, and residential houses, as well as to optimally complete the planned work for this year under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.
