In order to strengthen economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree approving the composition of the Joint Turkmen-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission from the Turkmen side, reports TDH.

The Commission is intended to facilitate the implementation of bilateral economic projects and the expansion of partnership in strategically important areas.
