President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a Resolution approving the State Program for ensuring civil aviation security in Turkmenistan, reports TDH.

The document was adopted "in accordance with Article 71 of the Air Code to plan and implement measures to ensure the country's aviation security."

During a Cabinet meeting, the General Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, M. Chakyyev, stated that the program complies with the standards, practices, and procedures of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It outlines legal and organizational measures to ensure a high level of safety, regularity, and efficiency of civil aviation flights in the country.
