On December 24, a ceremony was held in the Tejen district to open a water treatment plant with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day, and in the Ak Bugday district, a wastewater treatment facility with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters per day.
The commissioning of these specialized facilities is a clear testament to the large-scale reforms initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and carried out under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. These reforms aim to improve the social and living conditions of the people and enhance the infrastructure of all sectors of the country's economy in line with the demands of the times, including successfully addressing the tasks outlined in the National Rural Program.

Equipping the facilities with the latest equipment from world-renowned manufacturers will allow work to be carried out at the proper level, including uninterruptedly providing the population with clean drinking water. The new water treatment plant, which includes a number of facilities, fully complies with international standards.
In the speeches of the ceremony participants, sincere gratitude was expressed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for the construction of such facilities aimed at improving the quality of life of the people.
Providing the population with clean drinking water is defined as one of the main tasks in the large-scale socio-economic programs implemented in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. To successfully address these tasks, appropriate measures are being taken in the country, and the water supply systems of cities and towns are being modernized.
Currently, great attention is being paid in the Homeland to improving water resource management activities, their conservation, creating additional water reserves, improving the water supply of cities and villages, expanding the volumes of reservoirs, increasing the capacity of rivers, irrigation, and drainage systems.
Turkmenistan has rich experience in rational water use. Our people have always treated water with care. Today, these noble traditions are reflected in comprehensive measures to modernize the water management infrastructure, introduce scientific achievements, and environmentally friendly saving technologies into the industry.
During the celebration, new cars were handed over to the water treatment plant in the Tejen district on behalf of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
Thus, the current events have once again confirmed the successful implementation of the socially oriented policy under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, aimed at improving the lives of the people.
