The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the construction site of the International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center in the northern part of Ashgabat. This modern medical complex will enhance the country's healthcare system.

During his visit, Berdimuhamedov reviewed the construction materials and emphasized the importance of their quality and durability. He was presented with the project plans and equipment details by the Minister of Health and Medical Industry, M. Mammedov, and the construction supervisor, N. Amannepesov.

The new center will include specialized diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation departments, focusing on modern oncology treatments. It will have 500 beds and prioritize the safety of medical services. Berdimuhamedov stressed the need for collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in nuclear medicine and waste management.

He highlighted the importance of equipping the center with advanced technology and training medical professionals. The center aims to provide high-quality medical services in cooperation with leading international clinics and enhance the professional level of oncologists.

Berdimuhamedov also emphasized the need for a unified intellectual analysis department, staffed with young professionals proficient in digital technologies and foreign languages. This department will help in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

The visit concluded with a meeting where Berdimuhamedov discussed the ongoing healthcare reforms, the importance of disease prevention, and the modernization of healthcare facilities. He gave specific instructions to ensure the successful completion and operation of the new oncology center.
