President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, following a good tradition, visited the New Year performance at the Main Christmas Tree of the country, located in the Cultural and Entertainment Center "Älem". This place annually becomes the center of celebration of the beloved winter holiday, which the people of Turkmenistan greet with joy, peace, and harmony, reports TDH.

A colorful celebration unfolded in the square in front of the Center with the participation of young Turkmen citizens. Around the Main Christmas Tree, 44 meters high and 16 meters wide, decorated with an eight-pointed star with the numbers 2025, garlands, and colorful toys, a fairy-tale kingdom spread out. Children from different parts of Turkmenistan were invited to the celebration, including excellent students, winners of olympiads, sports competitions, and creative contests.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived at the venue, where he was joyfully greeted by children in festive costumes, presenting bouquets of flowers. To a solemn melody, the President, together with the children, proceeded to the sparkling tree. The main characters of the holiday – Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk, as well as characters symbolizing the year, congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the younger generation.

Song and musical performances by young artists, who had prepared their creative gifts, began. In an atmosphere of magic and mystery, a spectacular New Year performance unfolded with the participation of talented vocalists, musicians, and children's dance ensembles. The culmination of the celebration was a round dance around the tree, in which the President participated with the children, embodying friendship, peace, and unity.

All the children participating in the celebration were given New Year gifts, and at the request of the children, Serdar Berdimuhamedov took a photo with them at the Main Christmas Tree for a long-lasting memory. Bidding farewell to the children, the President wished them a Happy New Year, excellent winter holidays, and success in their studies.
