In 2025, Turkmenistan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its permanent neutrality, and in honor of this event, as well as on the occasion of the declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," a special commemorative medal and commemorative badge will be established.

This was announced at a meeting of the state organizing committee, chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.

Addressing the head of the Mejlis, D.Gulmanova, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted the importance of improving legislative activities in the light of the planned events and expanding propaganda and educational work among the population.

They also noted the need to develop, together with Deputy Prime Minister H.Geldimyradov and the Chairman of the Central Bank, a draft commemorative medal and plaque on the occasion of the "International Year of Peace and Trust" and the glorious 30th anniversary of the country's neutrality.
