The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on the construction of new engineering and communication systems in the city of Arkadag, the implementation of which will begin in January 2025. The two-year project is part of the country's national development program until 2052.

According to the document, the Arkadag City State Construction Committee was authorized to conclude contracts with local construction companies for the design and construction of infrastructure facilities. The list of works includes not only the creation of engineering systems and structures, but also the improvement of adjacent territories.

All work on the creation of gas and electric networks, as well as other utilities, is scheduled to be completed by January 2027. The project is being implemented within the framework of the Arkadag City Development Concept for 2024-2052 and is aimed at improving the architectural and urban appearance of the city, TDH reports.
