On January 11, the national Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the projects of facilities planned for construction and reconstruction. This is reported by TDH.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and hakim of the city of Arkadag G.Mammadova reported on the projects and drawings of the planned and proposed construction of production complexes and other facilities of the second stage of the construction of the new city.

Among the projects presented are a medical cluster, a shopping and business center in Arkadag, an office building for a medical cluster and a vaccine manufacturing plant, an artistic carpet weaving enterprise, the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet and Needlework, as well as a plot of land intended for the construction of a proposed new cultural and entertainment center.

The construction of buildings and structures planned as part of the second stage of construction of the city of Arkadag should be approached in accordance with the requirements of modern urban planning. Speaking about this, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of ensuring the high quality of the work performed and a thoughtful approach to the improvement of the territories adjacent to the buildings.

It was also noted that, as with the construction of facilities proposed for construction in a new city, attention should be paid to their decor and aesthetic component. In particular, it is necessary to take a responsible approach to the construction of a new cultural and entertainment center in the city.

First of all, an important place should be given to national peculiarities. The principles of national architecture should be combined with best practices, as well as take into account local natural conditions.

The need for a thoughtful and responsible approach to determining the location of the canal that will flow through the territory of the new cultural and entertainment center was noted.

"The uniqueness of the territory of this center, its decorative features should correspond to the traditions of our ancestors," the National Leader continued, noting that a special hotel and restaurant should be built here, which should reveal the real world of the Turkmen people and gave instructions to the relevant leaders in this regard.

Guided by the hospitality of our people, Turkmen national dishes should be served here. The ancient cultural values of our people should be represented here. It was noted that these unique values of the people should make a great impression on future guests.

Further, the importance of placing sculptures of horses on the territory of the park, which are the pride of the Turkmen people and famous all over the world, was emphasized. At the same time, information about the pedigree of each horse, its history and race victories should be summarized and displayed on large information screens.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also noted that the issues of environmental well-being in the new city and the unified harmony of the buildings of the city of Arkadag should be approached based on the achievements of modern science and in accordance with the requirements of the urban development program.

Earlier, we reported that at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 10, the President of Turkmenistan signed resolutions "On the construction of the first stage of the Arkadag medical cluster", "On the construction of internal and external water supply systems, irrigation, sewerage, precipitation drainage, closed drainage, as well as roads, internal and external supply systems and facilities for electricity and gas supply and communications in the city of Arkadag" and "On the construction of an artistic carpet weaving Enterprise and the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet and Needlework in the city of Arkadag."
