The Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan expressed gratitude for the visit to Turkmenistan

Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan Akihisa Nagashima sent a letter of thanks to Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov following his visit to the country, TDH reports.

In his address, the Japanese diplomat noted that this was his first visit to Ashgabat, and he was impressed by the warmth of the locals, the rich culture and history of the country, as well as the deep bilateral ties between Turkmenistan and Japan.

Nagashima expressed his willingness to further promote the strengthening of friendly relations with Turkmenistan and Central Asia in general. He also thanked the Turkmen side for accepting Japan's position on the upcoming Summit within the framework of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue.

According to the adviser, the Japanese side will continue to consider the possibility of holding this Summit at a convenient time for both Japan and the Central Asian countries. Japan also confirmed its readiness for further cooperation with Turkmenistan in preparation for this international event.

At the end of the letter, Akihisa Nagashima wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov good health and well-being, as well as further development and prosperity to Turkmenistan.
