On March 12, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia, Mukhammetgeldi Ayazov, and the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Artur Martirosyan, discussed bilateral issues in cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational, and sports fields. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Embassy in Yerevan.

The meeting addressed the participation of university professors in international seminars and conferences, as well as the involvement of students and schoolchildren from both countries in thematic Olympiads.

Ambassador Ayazov noted that under the motto "International Year of Peace and Trust," Turkmenistan is organizing various events both domestically and abroad.

In this context, the parties discussed the organization of joint cultural and sports events in Turkmenistan and Armenia, with a particular focus on youth engagement.
