Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the establishment of a Turkmen-Kyrgyz commission on transport and logistics

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has approved the proposal to establish a Joint Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Transport, Transit, and Logistics. The decision was made during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by the head of state via a digital system, TDH reports.

During the meeting, the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, M. Chakiyev, presented a report on measures to develop cooperation in the field of logistics between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. According to him, the establishment of the commission will contribute to the further activation of international transport and transit corridors in several directions.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening transport and logistics cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic. The head of state approved the composition of the commission from the Turkmen side and instructed the head of the Agency to carry out the necessary work for its formation.
