Dear people!

I cordially congratulate you on the National Holiday of Spring, the International Day of Novruz, which is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in our country! I firmly believe that exhibitions of national values, folklore performances and songs that will be performed during the Novruz holiday, filled with the colors of spring, will help to increase the creative potential of the country and increase the love of our cultural heritage and traditions in the hearts of citizens.

We have declared 2025 the "International Year of Peace and Trust" in our country. This year, our independent state is widely celebrating the 30th anniversary of its neutrality at the international level. The permanent neutrality status of our sovereign State is of great importance in strengthening unity, friendship and brotherhood among the peoples of the world, consolidating universal peace, expanding mutual trust and good-neighborly relations. Currently, the development of mutually beneficial friendly relations with the countries of the world on an ongoing basis further enhances the international authority of the Motherland.

In the International Year of Peace and Trust, when the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality is widely celebrated, the historical significance of the National Spring Holiday, the International Day of Novruz, increases even more. The traditions and customs observed during Nowruz contribute to the widespread popularization of peace, trust, solidarity and humanistic principles, the formation of kindliness among the younger generation, and their upbringing in the spirit of patriotism, friendship, diligence and conscientiousness.

Dear compatriots!

Having historical roots going back thousands of years, Novruz has been an integral part of the life and culture of the peoples of the East since ancient times. The traditions of the Novruz holiday reflect the identity of each nation, strengthening friendship, unity, peace and trust between peoples. Novruz is a celebration of the renewal and flourishing of nature, it awakens pure feelings, love, beauty and peace in the hearts of people.

The traditions of Novruz, included by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mankind, are of great importance in strengthening peace and friendship.

The books of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, filled with deep wisdom and presented to the Turkmen people, contain valuable thoughts about the centuries-old path to the creation of the state, national principles and beliefs of our people.

In his book "Hakyda göwheri" Arkadag cites our national values, blooming springtime and bountiful harvest as an example of paintings and moments of happiness, well-being and beauty of the Turkmen land. The reproduction of these spiritual and material values in the traditions of Novruz in the field of agriculture and agriculture indicates that important information in the works of the National Leader of the Turkmen people is closely related to the glorious history and rich heritage of the people and has great educational value.

Novruz has a special significance in national customs and traditions that have come down to our days from glorious ancestors. Since ancient times, the Turkmen land has been a land of developed crafts, agriculture, and horticulture. With the arrival of spring, our daykhans, sowing the fields, lay the foundation for a rich harvest. On beautiful spring days, shepherds graze flocks of sheep in distant pastures, blooming meadows, engaged in cattle breeding.

As our people say, "The beginning of the New Year will be recognized." Our ancestors determined the arrival of the year by the heavy rains in spring. This year, thanks to heavy rainfall, our fields have bloomed with bright colors, and green meadows sparkle dazzlingly under a blue sky. With the arrival of the Turkmen spring, our bountiful fields, virgin lands, mountains and plains have become incomparably beautiful. All this inspires our happy compatriots during the Novruz celebrations. During the celebrations on the occasion of the National Spring Holiday, the joyful atmosphere is enhanced by beautiful songs of musicians and soloists, dances and vivid performances by art groups, and modern poetry by poets.
