At a government meeting held on March 28, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree titled "On Rice Production in Turkmenistan in 2025."

According to the decree, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Association Türkmengallaönümleri, and the administrations of Dashoguz and Lebap provinces are tasked with ensuring a high rice yield in designated districts. This will be achieved by establishing production and crop rotation based on scientific principles and in accordance with agronomic requirements.

The document was designed to further increase the volume of agricultural production and achieve high rice yields, TDH reports.
