Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Turkmenistan

During a telephone conversation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to pay an official visit to Turkmenistan. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

“A telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian… During the meeting, the head of state invited President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian to visit our country. For his part, the President of the IRI invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan to visit Iran at any convenient time,” the statement said.

According to the agency, the telephone conversation between the heads of state took place on the initiative of the Iranian side.

During the conversation, the parties highly assessed the current level of bilateral relations based on the principles of equality, good neighborliness and mutual respect. It was noted that cooperation between the countries is actively developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The President of Turkmenistan confirmed his readiness to continue making efforts to strengthen friendly relations between the two states in the interests of the Turkmen and Iranian peoples.

At the end of the conversation, the heads of state exchanged wishes for good health, success in government activities, as well as peace and prosperity to the peoples of both countries.
