On March 29, during a working visit to the Republic of Cyprus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic T.Komekov presented copies of his credentials to the Head of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus K.Sofianou, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Italy reported to Turkmenportal.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed current aspects of bilateral cooperation in priority areas. The parties considered issues of political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

The participants of the talks paid special attention to the implementation of bilateral visits, which contribute to strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and Cyprus.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to maintain an active dialogue for the further development and deepening of bilateral relations between the states and exchanged best wishes.
