Yesterday, during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan A. Gurbanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Edmondo Cirielli, the development of bilateral relations was discussed. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The parties exchanged views on the initiative to approve the "Action Plan for the Creation of Multilateral Cooperation Networks between Central Asia and Italy for 2024-2025", which covers issues such as energy transition, water resources, healthcare, agriculture, higher education and transport.
Ways to increase the volume of trade, economic and investment partnership were also discussed. Among the priority areas - the oil and gas sector, the railway industry, the textile industry, agriculture and water management were noted.
The parties noted their mutual focus on enhancing cooperation in the field of education, archeology and culture.
