President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has left on a visit to Japan, TDH reports.

At the international airport of the capital, the head of state was escorted by officials.

During the visit, the President of Turkmenistan will take part in celebrations on the occasion of the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition EXPO-2025 and hold summit meetings, the agency notes.

The world Exhibition Expo 2025 will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025 under the motto "Creating a society of the future for our lives." The event will take place on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka Bay and is projected to attract more than 28 million visitors.

Turkmenistan's National Day at Expo 2025 is scheduled for April 14.
