The final document of the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for Children”, held in Turkmenistan, in the city of Arkadag on March 29, was translated into the official languages of the United Nations and distributed as an agenda document for the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the forum, timed to coincide with the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, became an important event and caused a great stir in the international community.

This clearly demonstrates the recognition by the world community of the noble activities carried out in Turkmenistan to ensure a happy and prosperous life for children.

The agenda of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly includes such topics as: culture of peace, social development, peacebuilding and peacekeeping, promotion and protection of children's rights.
