National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with the head of the French company Bouygues, Martin Bouygues, during his official visit to France to discuss prospects for cooperation, TDH reports.

The meeting took place at the residence of the head of the French company. Martin Bouygues conveyed greetings and best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting that it is a great honor for Bouygues to participate in the implementation of large-scale construction projects in Turkmenistan.

“Bouygues is a long-standing and reliable business partner of Turkmenistan. The numerous successful joint projects clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of our established cooperation,” emphasized the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

During the meeting, it was noted that the company has been operating in Turkmenistan since the early years of independence. The sides discussed the company’s contribution to expanding educational ties between the two countries, as well as to the teaching of the French language in Turkmenistan, where a specialized French language school built by Bouygues is in operation.

Martin Bouygues stated that the company has always been guided by the valuable advice of the National Leader of the Turkmen people in key projects and confirmed Bouygues’ interest in strengthening its presence in the promising Turkmen market.
