President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree declaring Monday, May 19, a non-working day in Turkmenistan. The holiday has been moved from May 18 to May 19 in connection with the celebration of Constitution Day and the State Flag Day of Turkmenistan, according to the national television news program "Watan."

The decree states that the decision was made “to create favorable conditions for the festive celebration of Turkmenistan’s Constitution Day and State Flag Day, and to ensure the population enjoys a comfortable rest.”

All agencies, enterprises, and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, are instructed to comply with the decree in accordance with Part 2 of Article 81 of Turkmenistan’s Labor Code.
