National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a telephone conversation with Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, TDH reports.

During the conversation, the parties noted the high level of Turkmen-UAE relations based on the principles of friendship, mutual respect and support.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the significant prospects for expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation, pointing to the steady growth in trade turnover between the countries.

The interlocutors discussed the implementation of joint projects in the interests of the peoples of the two states. The UAE Vice President emphasized that the agreements reached indicate the active development of interstate cooperation in various fields, especially in the fuel and energy sector.
