From May 21 to 24, a delegation of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey headed by Chairman Erol Ozvar will be in Ashgabat on a working visit.

The purpose of the visit is to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the field of higher education.

A number of meetings are planned as part of the visit. In particular, the Turkish delegation will meet with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B. Orazdurdyeva. The Minister of Education of Turkmenistan will also take part in the negotiations. The discussion will focus on strengthening cooperation between the educational institutions of the two countries.

In addition, meetings are planned with the leadership of the country's leading universities - the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli, the International University for the Humanities and Development and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​named after D. Azadi.

The cultural program of the delegation includes a visit to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Carpet Museum. The guests will also get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan by visiting the historical and cultural reserve "Nisa".

The visit is expected to be an important step in the development of bilateral educational cooperation.
