President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message in connection with the "Last Bell" ceremony in all general education institutions of the country. Particular attention in the congratulations was given to the fact that the current graduates became the first to receive a complete secondary education under the new 12-year curriculum, developed on the basis of the "Concept of the transition to twelve-year general secondary education in Turkmenistan".

I am confident that the celebrations on this occasion, held in the International Year of Peace and Trust, marked by the wide celebration of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of independent Turkmenistan, will increase the pride in the hearts of our graduates for the glorious past, happy present and great future of our dear Motherland!

You are the first graduates to receive an education in a 12-year curriculum based on the "Concept of transition to twelve-year general secondary education in Turkmenistan", developed thanks to the far-sighted initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero Arkadag. Over the past period, comprehensive work has been done to improve the national education system in accordance with world standards and generally recognized international norms.

You have received a modern education based on the use of advanced teaching methods, scientific achievements and innovative technologies. Your great successes during your studies at international educational competitions are the pride of the Fatherland and the wonderful fruits of the reforms carried out in the field of education.

Since ancient times, the Turkmen people have recognized the inexhaustible power of science and education, turning reading, learning, creation and construction into their life school. Knowledge is the most important factor in development in ancient Jeitun and Anau, Nisa and Merv, Gurgench and Amul.

Both in the past and in the present, science and education are the basic foundation of our achievements, thanks to which we are building the future of our independent Motherland. Therefore, we will continue to make every effort to educate comprehensively educated, broad-minded, capable and purposeful generations. In order to improve the level of knowledge of our youth, we will enrich the content of academic subjects in accordance with national experience and the latest achievements in science and education, and develop new textbooks and manuals.

Guided by the motto "The Motherland is the Motherland only with the people! The state is the state only with the people!", we will pay special attention to the further development of the national education system. We will accelerate the pace of work on the construction of modern kindergartens and secondary schools in all corners of our neutral Fatherland, creating favorable conditions for obtaining high-quality education and the comprehensive development of our young generation. We will provide all the opportunities for the fruitful work of teachers who have one of the most prestigious professions in the world, and we will continue to take care of further improving their social and living conditions.

You are the generation in whose hands the great future of our Fatherland is. We place great hopes on you in achieving high goals aimed at the well-being of our people and all of humanity.

You, guided by the original national principles and relying on the experience accumulated over thousands of years, must increase the authority, dignity and glory of the sovereign Fatherland in the world, showing great love for your native land and dear people. You must consistently improve your knowledge and broaden your horizons, following the valuable instructions and precepts of such outstanding sons of the people as Oguz Han, Gorkut Ata, Gorogly Bek, Alp Arslan, Jelaleddin Menburun, such great personalities as Mahmud Kashgari, Abu Sagyt Abulhair, Hoja Ahmed Yasawi, Bayram Han, Dovletmammet Azadi and Magtymguli Pragi.
