Turkmenistan Airlines changes its arrival airport in London to Gatwick

Turkmenistan Airlines plans to introduce a flight from Ashgabat to London Gatwick in the spring of 2024, which will replace the existing flight landing at London Heathrow Airport. From April 3, the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft will operate weekly flights on this route, according to AeroRoutes, a company that specializes in updating and daily changes to airline schedules/networks around the world.

London Gatwick Airport (LGW), one of the six major airports serving the London metropolitan area, is the second busiest airport in the United Kingdom after Heathrow. Located approximately 45 kilometers from central London, the airport serves as a hub for British Airways. Airplanes of Emirates, Turkish Airlines and other major carriers also land and take off here.
