President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the opening ceremony of the modern village of Bagtly Zamana in the Govshut gengeshlik of the Kaakhka etrap of the Ahal velayat.

"Today, on the eve of the glorious date of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the Independence Day, we are witnessing a series of ceremonial openings of new buildings and facilities in different parts of our beautiful Motherland. In a short period of time, a huge amount of work has been done to ensure the socio-economic development of the Ahal velayat," the Address notes.

The 400 residential buildings, a secondary school for 640 children, a kindergarten for 320 children, a shopping center, and an administrative building of the gengeshlik erected in the village of Bagtly Zamana are an exemplary image of hundreds of villages and cities of the present and near future of the now prosperous Turkmen state.

"The village of Bagtly Zamana will be inscribed in golden letters in the new history of the gengeshlik and will contribute to the improvement of the socio-cultural level and well-being of rural residents. It should be especially noted that the construction of the village was carried out by Turkmen builders, who make a great contribution to the successful implementation of large-scale transformation programs," the President emphasized.

Work within the framework of the “National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Towns, Etrap Cities and Etrap Centers for the Period up to 2028” in the new edition is of great importance in strengthening social security and further improving the living conditions of the country's population.

"And in the future, implementing the national strategy to improve the quality of life of the people, we will continue to build residential buildings of increased comfort, social and cultural facilities at a high pace. Caring for the interests of our people, their well-being are among the main vectors of the state policy of Turkmenistan," the head of state concluded, wishing the participants of the celebration health, a prosperous and happy life, and success in their work, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
