MGIMO Rector praised the diligence of Turkmen students

As part of the Round Table and exhibition dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classic of Turkmen literature and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi, organized and held by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation together with the society of Turkmen students studying at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (MGIMO) , On March 21, a bilateral meeting took place between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aydogdyev and the rector of MGIMO Anatoly Torkunov.

Currently, 28 students from Turkmenistan are studying at MGIMO, and the rector noted their high sense of responsibility and diligence in their studies, as well as their active participation in the public life of the university.

During the meeting, the interlocutors agreed on the need to intensify ties within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and MGIMO, reports the Turkmen Embassy in Moscow.

The parties also discussed the need to make full use of the potential for cooperation in the exchange of experience between MGIMO and specialized higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan. In this context, a separate topic was the study by Turkmen specialists of the extensive experience gained by MGIMO in the development of academic curricula and their application.
