Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent congratulations and best wishes to U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of his 80th birthday, Turkmenistan’s state media reported on Monday.

The head of state said Turkmenistan highly values its friendly relations with the United States and expressed confidence in their continued development and strengthening.

"We highly value the friendly relations between our countries and are firmly confident in their further development and strengthening in the interests of the peoples of Turkmenistan and the United States of America", – Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in his congratulatory message.

Trump marked his 80th birthday on June 14. Serdar Berdimuhamedov also wished the U.S. leader good health, happiness, prosperity and continued success in his efforts for the progress and prosperity of the American people.
