Members of the delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of meetings with deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of the visit to Dushanbe of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Khovar news agency reports

The meetings were attended by the heads of the relevant committees of the two parliaments responsible for the economy, finance, government, local government and ecology, as well as the heads of interparliamentary friendship groups.

During the meetings, the Tajik side stressed that it pays special attention to the further development and expansion of relations with Turkmenistan, including strengthening inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries.
