President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and khakimov velayats, at which the progress of seasonal field work in the country was reviewed.

The first floor was given to the hyakim of the Akhal Velayat R.Khojagulyev, who reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, cotton sowing continues in agricultural fields. Vegetation irrigation and row-to-row processing are carried out on the sown areas in places where seedlings have appeared.

In accordance with agrotechnical standards, care continues for wheat, as well as for potato and other vegetable crops.

At the same time, in order to successfully implement the cocoon production plan, silk growers are working accordingly to carry out this campaign at the proper level.

Concrete steps are being implemented for effective and rational water use, improvement of land reclamation, cleaning of irrigation and collector-drainage systems.

In addition, it was reported on preparations for holding cultural events in the velayat on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, as well as on the progress of construction of various facilities according to the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of seasonal agricultural work being carried out these days, instructing the hyakim to take the necessary measures to complete the sowing of cotton on time, as well as to ensure the care of wheat in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology.

At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to keep under constant control the quality of construction of facilities for various purposes within the framework of the country's socio-economic development programs, the opening of which is scheduled for this year.

The Head of State said that he had decided to appoint S.Kakabayev as deputy khakim for agriculture of the Akhal Velayat and signed the relevant document.

Then, the governor of the Balkan velayat, H.Ashyrmyradov, reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

As noted, cotton sowing is currently being organized in the region. Seedlings are cared for on the sown areas with the effective use of agricultural machinery and aggregates.

In accordance with agrotechnical standards, wheat care continues in the fields, including vegetation irrigation and fertilization with mineral fertilizers.

In order to grow rich harvests of potatoes and vegetable crops, crops are being cared for these days in order to provide the population with these products in sufficient volume.

Then B.Orazov, the governor of Mary Velayat, reported on the state of affairs in the region.

As noted, cotton sowing is currently underway with the use of agricultural machinery and aggregates at full capacity. Row-to-row processing is carried out in fields with new shoots. Mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation are carried out on areas sown with wheat. In accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, potatoes, onions and other vegetable crops are being cared for.

The necessary conditions are being created for silkworms in order to organize the cocoon production season, and work is underway to care for the silkworm.

Measures are being taken to improve the water supply of agricultural lands, rational and careful use of water resources, replenishment of reservoirs, cleaning of irrigation and collector-drainage systems.

In addition, Hakim reported on the preparations in the velayat for cultural events dedicated to the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, as well as on the pace of construction of various facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, planned for commissioning this year.

Summarizing the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the necessary requirement for the ongoing seasonal agricultural work is their high-quality performance, instructing the hyakim to ensure control over the care of cotton and wheat crops.

At the same time, the head of the regional administration was instructed to ensure the optimal implementation of the work planned for the current year according to the National Rural Program and the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028, as well as on the occasion of the opening ceremonies of social infrastructure facilities in the coming days.

In continuation of the working meeting, the head of state signed Decrees on the dismissal of A.Abdullayev from the post of hyakim of the Sakarchaginsky etrap of the Mary Velayat for health reasons and the appointment of B.Taganov to this position.

Measures are being taken to develop horse breeding in the country, increase the number of horses, preserve their thoroughbred blood and glorify our Akhal-Teke people in the world.

Appropriate preparatory work is being carried out to hold high-level celebrations on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, which is widely celebrated annually in our country on the last Sunday of April.

Summarizing the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under strict control the sowing of cotton and wheat care in accordance with agrotechnical standards and at a high level.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant documents, according to which K.Haytekov and Y.Nursakhatov was appointed deputy chairman of the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry, and M.Ovezmyradov was appointed deputy Chairman of the State Association of Food Industry.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also stressed that a lot of work is being done today to popularize our world-famous horses, and instructed to ensure that celebrations on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Turkmen horse are held at a high organizational level.
