These days, a seminar is being held in Ashgabat, which is attended by representatives of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

A number of sessions are planned within the framework of the seminar, the first of which is devoted to the presentation of a general idea of the monetary voucher assistance program (DWP) in order to prepare for an effective response to crisis situations, familiarization with examples of action plans of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies of other countries.

Joint activities allow the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan to realize the existing potential, increase the level of knowledge of employees and volunteers of the Society.

The meeting discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation between the NOCTT and major international organizations and structures, primarily with the United Nations.

Information was heard about plans for further cooperation with relevant ministries and departments, holding business meetings and training events, and practical implementation of the "Action Plan for 2024-2026 on the implementation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in Turkmenistan".
