The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree ordering the hyakimliks of velayats, towns and villages in honor of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 to solemnly present monetary gifts in the amount of 200 manats and valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to war veterans. This is reported by the news program "Watan".

It was noted that the document was signed with the aim of honoring the unparalleled heroism shown on the battlefields by the participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the dedication of gray-haired mothers who worked in the rear at that time, taking into account their noble work on educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, heroism, courage, strengthening the unity and cohesion of our people, contribution to the successful the implementation of the cardinal reforms carried out in the country, as well as on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory.
