Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov, at a government meeting via video link, reported on the measures taken to increase oil and gas production in four months of 2024.

As reported, the implementation of the plan by the State Concern Turkmennebit for oil and gas condensate production amounted to 102.4 percent, for oil refining – 102.9 percent, for gasoline production – 100 percent, diesel fuel – 100.6 percent, lubricating oils -110.1 percent.

It was also reported on the technical and economic indicators for the production of polypropylene, liquefied natural gas, natural and associated gas production, and the export of "blue fuel".

Summarizing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of effectively continuing comprehensive measures to increase the volume of natural gas and oil production at the fields. At the same time, it is necessary to pay special attention to the implementation of innovative projects in the oil refining industry.

In general, the activities of the country's oil and gas complex should be constantly improved, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed, addressing the Deputy Prime Minister with relevant instructions.
