President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the solemn ceremony of commissioning two important facilities in the Ahal Velayat – the second stage of the Baherden cement plant with a capacity of 1 million tons of cement per year and a water treatment plant in the village of Yashlyk with a capacity of 30 thousand cubic meters of water per day.

During his speech, the head of state announced the transfer of about 200 new modern buses to residents of the region as a gift to improve passenger transportation.

– Congratulations to everyone on the opening of the second stage of the Bäherden cement plant in the Bakherden etrap of the Ahal Velayat, the water treatment plant in the village of Yashlyk etrap Ak Bugday of the Ahal Velayat, as well as on the transfer of modern buses to the residents of the region as a gift, – said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
