The national Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in his letter to Rustam Minnikhanov, noted the high value of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.

In the message published on the TDH website, in particular, it says:

First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for the invitation to visit friendly Tatarstan.

The peoples of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan are united by strong bonds of friendship, which are enriched with new content in the current period of development. Our relations are based on common cultural and spiritual values, similarity of traditions and mutual understanding. The established trust-based dialogue at the highest level always contributes to the development of mutually beneficial partnership.

And from the first moment of arrival in the beautiful city of Kazan, we were given a truly warm and welcoming welcome. The results of our meeting, during which many aspects of interaction were discussed, will undoubtedly serve as a new impetus in promoting effective cooperation.

We also took part in the annual meeting of the Strategic Vision Group "Russia–the Islamic World", held within the framework of the events of the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum 2024", during which I had the honor to make a speech. The participation of numerous representatives of government, religious and business circles in this event testifies to the growing interest in Tatarstan as a link between Russia and the Islamic world.

It is worth noting that the national stand of Turkmenistan was presented at the international exhibition "Russia Halal Expo", where the achievements of state institutions and private companies of our country were shown. The Turkmen delegation was provided with comprehensive assistance in organizing fruitful negotiations and familiarization with Tatarstan's advanced developments.
