President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov, who arrived in our country to participate in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS.

In the context of the multifaceted Turkmen-Uzbek partnership, a special place is given to the trade and economic sphere. In this regard, the positive dynamics of bilateral trade turnover, expansion of cooperation in the fuel and energy, transport and logistics, and agricultural sectors were emphasized.

Along with this, the progressive nature is inherent in traditional contacts in cultural, scientific, and educational fields, which is a kind of bridge for further rapprochement between the two fraternal peoples, strengthening centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness.
