The national Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the projects of various facilities planned for construction during the second stage of construction of the new city, as well as with samples of decorative decoration of buildings. Along with this, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty held a working meeting at the headquarters of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

Taking into account the fact that as part of the implementation of the second stage of the construction of the new city, the construction of industrial complexes is mainly planned, special importance is attached to the introduction of modern scientific achievements into the work. In this context, the preservation of its architectural appearance and a favorable ecological environment are identified among the important tasks of the urban development program of the city of Arkadag.

During the visit, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty got acquainted with the projects of various facilities planned for construction as part of the second phase of the new city. Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and hakim of the city of Arkadag G.Mammadova reported on the specifics of the prepared projects, as well as on the proposed facilities.

Among them are projects for the design of the Arkadag children's park, as well as the Saglyk square, including sculptures that will be installed in them, repair of streets between the Akhan and Polatli monuments, a scheme of sites proposed for bypassing the Ashgabat–Geoktepe highway, as well as samples of the decoration of buildings and road transport infrastructure facilities, drawings of the division into sections of the museum, the location of the construction sites of the medical cluster.

After reviewing the submitted projects, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of comments and made appropriate adjustments.

The Mayor of Arkadag, G.Mammadova, reported that, along with the measures taken to improve the city, issues related to improving the quality of life of the population are always in the field of view.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that when carrying out work within the framework of the second stage of the city's development, all modern construction and technical requirements must be met, including the deadlines for commissioning buildings, high quality materials used in their construction and decoration, giving a number of specific instructions in this regard.

Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a working meeting with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and the hyakim of the city of Arkadag G.Mammadova. First of all, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated everyone on the International Children's Day and instructed to ensure a high level of organization of events planned to be held in the new city.

During the workshop, reports were heard on the celebrations on the occasion of the International Children's Day in the city of Arkadag, on the mass bike ride timed to World Bicycle Day, which will take place on June 3, the program of the Week of Culture, held for the first time in the city of Arkadag, as well as on the progress of work in these areas.
