On May 8, while on a working visit to the city of Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting here.

The meeting was attended by some Deputy Prime Ministers, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues A.Begliev, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov, Vice-President of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov R.Bazarov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship and heads of the media.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N.Amannepesov, as part of his report on the work of the structures supervised by him, announced the creation of the Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment enterprise in the country, which will produce disposable medicines, masks, duvet covers, which are used daily in the healthcare sector. This is important in increasing the volume of production from local raw materials of drugs necessary for medical institutions and meeting the needs of medical institutions for appropriate drugs.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people gave a number of instructions on the successful continuation of the work begun, while preparing manuals and regulations on the joint use and consumption of manufactured products with ministries and sectoral management bodies and establishing methodological work. It is also necessary to prepare data on the required volume of these products in the whole country.

Noting that currently the quality and environmental level of polypropylene produced in the production facilities of the fuel and energy complex are highly appreciated in the world, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues A.Begliev said that the country has great prospects for the use of injection equipment made of polypropylene and polyethylene, which are used daily in medical institutions.

The National Leader drew attention to the importance of supplying raw materials necessary for the production of medical devices, appropriate measures to establish the production of medical polypropylene from local polypropylene raw materials in accordance with international requirements, as well as the adoption of quality standards for raw materials and products planned for production. Appropriate work should be carried out to obtain international ISO certificates.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Annamammedov reported on the activities carried out in the structures under his control, including scientific activities and efforts to introduce scientific achievements into institutions and production enterprises of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" and the development of salt deposits.

As part of the repair work at the Kiyanli polymer plant of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiyya", Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to establish the production of medical polypropylene taking into account international requirements and take effective measures to obtain medical salt that meets international standards in the country's salt deposits and enterprises belonging to the concern. Efforts should be made to adopt standards for the raw materials used and obtain international certificates for them.

Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H.Geldimyradov reported that, together with the relevant departments, measures are being taken in the field of active study of financial issues for the purchase of medical devices, as well as to determine the required number of medicines.

In order to ensure compliance of products manufactured in the country with international standards, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions on regulating standards related to raw materials and products planned for production, as well as their certification, including obtaining international ISO certificates.

In continuation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people ordered to take measures to issue a trademark in the Ministry of Finance and Economy for the products of the Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment company and issue appropriate patents. In this regard, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, other ministries and departmental institutions should identify sources of financing for purchases of products needed during the year.

The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D.Orazov, reported on the construction of industrial facilities planned as part of the second stage of the construction of the new city, and presented a list of local construction companies involved.

After hearing the report, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that appropriate measures should be taken to process the available raw materials at a high level, manufacture environmentally friendly and high-quality products from it. This will ensure the successful implementation of the program aimed at the industrialization of the country, will increase employment, at the same time establish a system of maintenance and production of products necessary for everyday life.

R.Bazarov, Vice-President of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, speaking about the importance of the work carried out in the city of Arkadag, especially the construction of medical cluster facilities, noted that these works will have a positive impact on the work of the Foundation, which is based on the principles of humanism.

Noting that currently great importance is attached in the country, including in the city of Arkadag, to strengthening a healthy lifestyle, compliance of industrial and production facilities with high environmental requirements, the National Leader said that these works, along with the industrialization of the national economy, issues of compliance with high environmental standards of production facilities are under constant attention.

According to the state program "Saglyk", developed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the ecological level of medicinal plants existing in the country and their healing properties are being studied on a scientific basis. This opens up wide opportunities for the production of medicines necessary for the healthcare system from local raw materials.

Noting that special attention is paid in the city of Arkadag to the use of advanced international experience and modern innovative technologies, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that the most modern "smart" city appeared due to the consistent and successful implementation of the tasks set in this direction. In this regard, it is necessary to widely cover the activities carried out on the territory of the city of Arkadag, especially the construction of medical cluster facilities in the new city and the planned production facilities in them.

In addition to the high-quality construction of industrial facilities that will be erected as part of the second stage of the development of the city of Arkadag, in particular, medical institutions, information about their equipment and supply levels should be reflected in the media. This is important for familiarizing the world community with large-scale activities aimed at improving the health of the country's population and increasing the export potential of the economy. Noting that Turkmenistan has all the necessary opportunities to increase the production of medicines from raw materials and environmentally friendly spring water, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that these products will fully provide domestic consumers, along with increasing its export potential.
