Negotiations have begun in Ashgabat between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok-el, who arrived in our country on a two-day state visit.

After the official meeting ceremony, the parties hold a conversation in a narrow format, after which negotiations will continue in an expanded format with the participation of members of the government delegations of the two countries.

It is expected that the two heads of state will discuss a wide range of issues of interstate cooperation, specifying their priorities taking into account the realities of today and with a view to a long-term perspective.

The first visit of President Yun Sok to Turkmenistan is considered as an important event in the history of the two peoples and states.

Following the results of the Turkmen-Korean talks at the highest level, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents.
