Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Turkmenistan Ahsan Vahan.

During the meeting, the Ambassador spoke about the effective development of interstate and international cooperation, ongoing reforms in Turkmenistan, as well as the importance of events organized in honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtumguly Pragy, the press service of the Turkmen parliament reports.

The sides exchanged views on the main areas of development of parliamentary cooperation on a bilateral basis. It was noted that the regular organization of meetings and meetings of relevant committees, women's and youth parliamentary groups within the framework of international parliamentary organizations, as well as on a bilateral and regional basis, creates favorable conditions for the exchange of experience in the field of legislative activity.
