On June 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the western region of the country, where he got acquainted with the implementation of the state program for the socio-economic development of velayats and the pace of grain harvesting. In the early morning, the helicopter of the President of the country headed from the capital to the Gyzylarvat etrap of the Balkan Velayat. The helicopter of the head of state landed near the wheat field of the Dayhan association "Arkaç" in the Gyzylarvat etrap.

Here, the President of Turkmenistan was warmly welcomed by the leaders of the agricultural sector of the country, as well as the hakim of the Balkan Velayat.

For this year's harvest, high-yielding wheat varieties were sown on farmlands of the Balkan Velayat.

The head of Turkmenistan was warmly welcomed here by the twin brothers Annaguly and Ashyrguly Annaguliyevs, tenants of the Dayhan association "Arkaç".

The Dayhans noted that the visit of the head of state to the Balkans is a great joy for the residents of the velayat, and reported that on the eve, with the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan, the honorary elders of the country, a grain harvest began here. They asked the President of Turkmenistan to bless the beginning of the harvest.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pronounced "Bismilla" and cut a small sheaf of wheat grown by hardworking dayhans.

Then the powerful machinery began harvesting. The President of Turkmenistan observed the work of combine harvesters in the wheat field of the Dayhan association "Arkaç".

Then Deputy Prime Minister T.Atakhalliyev reported to the head of state on the progress of grain harvesting in the country.

As noted, wheat harvesting is currently underway at an accelerated pace in all five velayats. At the same time, special attention is paid to the efficient operation of agricultural machinery.

The Head of State also got acquainted with the exhibition of vegetable and fruit products, varieties of cereals, bread and bakery products made from wheat of this year's harvest.

Further, the President of Turkmenistan, after talking with the young Annaguliyev tenants, asked about their working conditions, the types of crops grown on leased lands, and the productivity of grain fields.

The tenant brothers noted that thanks to the opportunities created by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, there are all conditions for diligent and effective work of young people. They said they have been farming since 2020. Annaguly expects to harvest 256 tons of wheat from 64 hectares of land this year. He also planted 15 hectares of cotton, 5.7 hectares of potatoes and 4 hectares of vegetables. And Ashyrguly has 15 hectares of land for cotton, 4.3 hectares for potatoes and 4 hectares for vegetables.

Underlining the constant support of our farmers by the state, who work hard and receive abundant harvests, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highly appreciated their noble work, noting that the people are proud of their courageous dayhans, who play a great role in strengthening food abundance in the country.
