President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree "On approving the Procedure for the development, implementation and financing of State scientific and technical programs," TDH reports.

The draft document was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Nurmukhammet Amannepesov during a Government meeting on Friday. The new Procedure, developed by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, is designed to increase the effectiveness of the state scientific and technical policy in priority areas, promote the introduction of advanced developments and technologies into production.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of financing and monitoring the implementation of scientific and technical programs. After signing the Decree, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister for digital Communications to take measures to accelerate the introduction of new technologies and innovative developments into production.
