On July 7, 2024, elections of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan were held in three electoral districts of Ashgabat to replace the prematurely retired deputies. The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan has announced the voting results.

Based on the election results, the following candidates were elected:

For the 1st electoral district “Garaşsyzlyk”
Bazarov Rejep is the manager of the Office of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, executive director, vice-president of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Deputy President of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmen of the World.

For the 2nd electoral district “Bitaraplyk”
Kuliyev Maksat Hojamuradovich - prosecutor of the Department for monitoring the implementation of laws in vehicles of the prosecutor's office of the city of Ashgabat.

For the 6th constituency “Köpetdag”
Mollaberdiyev Yenish Jumageldiyevich – leading consultant of the Department for Personnel and Performance Control of the Ministry of Adalat of Turkmenistan.
