The first "smart" railway station in Central Asia will be built in the city of Arkadag: What will it look like?

The second stage of construction of facilities is being implemented in the city of state significance - Arkadag. As part of the second stage, it is planned to build secondary schools, kindergartens, health homes, car parks, bus stations and much more.

The railway station will have a special place among the future developments. According to the newspaper Turkmenistan, the planned railway station will be the first "smart" station in Central Asia.

The height of the two-storey building of the smart railway station will be 20 meters, and will serve up to 50 passengers per hour. It will be equipped with electronic information boards that meet the requirements of the "smart" city concept, and "smart" video surveillance will be installed.

The platform roofs will adjust to weather conditions — automatically opening or closing. A hotel and a health center will also be open for passengers.

It is also planned to build covered and open parking lots, a bridge, a maintenance building, and a garage for specialized equipment in the complex of buildings of the smart railway station.
