Here's what Annamuhammet Kerimov, chief specialist of the digital economy development department of the 'Türkmentelekom" telecommunications company of the "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" agency, said about this:
– Under the leadership of the respected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan currently appears as an important information and communication bridge in the Central Asian region, ensuring stable communications between all parts of the region. For example, Turkmenistan is crossed by international fiber optic highways connecting our country with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Afghanistan. The leadership of our country has laid a solid foundation for the implementation of an effective strategy to optimize and increase the efficiency of information centers and domestic servers. All these measures are aimed at increasing the speed of the Internet and, as a result, properly unlocking the potential of the digital economy. It is gratifying that the country's population warmly supports the innovations initiated by the national telecom operator. For example, the number of personal accounts in the Single Window Government Services Portal - e.gov.tm has reached almost 53 thousand. The innovative competition “Sanly çözgüt” acts as a stimulating factor in the process of transformation of activities in the provision of digital services and opportunities, over the years of which the country’s young programmers have managed to create about a thousand promising projects.
Following the results of the round table, its participants especially emphasized the importance of the reforms being implemented in the country, designed to ensure continuous and comprehensive digitalization in all sectors of the national economic complex of independent neutral Turkmenistan.
