The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag. During the visit, he got acquainted with the projects of production facilities to be built in the new city, and from a helicopter inspected the work carried out at the second stage of construction, the information program "Watan" reported.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of comments on the submitted projects and made appropriate adjustments. The National Leader of the Turkmen people stressed the importance of a harmonious combination of the artistic carpet-making enterprise with the architectural appearance of the city, its environmental level and the peculiarities of the location of buildings. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty also gave specific instructions to the heads on these issues.

During the flight from Ashgabat to Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took a bird's-eye view of the works on the territory of the city, the peculiarities of the location of buildings and the movement of transport routes. The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the importance of observing environmental requirements during the construction of the production complex and gave instructions on the placement of related facilities.

In addition, the head of the Halk Maslahaty inspected the sites for the construction of a medical cluster, which will contribute to the modernization of the healthcare system, increase the potential of the national economy and create new jobs. It is also important to improve the social welfare of the population of the new city and increase its export opportunities.
