Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has sent a letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The letter reads:

Your Excellency,

I express my gratitude to you for our warm and cordial meeting in July on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Astana. This meeting allowed us to productively exchange views on a number of proposals for further strengthening cooperation between our countries.

I was impressed by your personal vision and desire to take Pakistan-Turkmen relations to a new level.

Pakistan highly values ​​the fraternal ties with Turkmenistan. Our countries, united by a common history, values ​​and geographical location, are partners and friends.

In order to further develop bilateral relations, I invite Your Excellency to pay an official visit to Pakistan and we look forward to welcoming you.
