On August 23, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Bashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Turkmenistan Elizabeth Rood.

During the meeting, the sides noted the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the United States based on the principles of mutual respect and trust.

It was noted that trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian cooperation occupy a special place on the bilateral agenda.

The parties agreed to continue the dialogue on the implementation of joint projects in the field of science and education.
