Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Upon arrival at the Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, Hero Arkadag was warmly welcomed by high-ranking officials of the IRI.

Here, the National Leader of the Turkmen people had a brief conversation with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Mrs. Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd.

Noting the productivity of the established interstate dialogue, which is based on trust and mutual respect, Hero Arkadag and Mrs. Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership between Turkmenistan and Iran, which is largely due to the position of the two countries, which remain unchanged in their desire to strengthen the centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness.
