The head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and all the fraternal people of the country on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The congratulations note the following:

“Over the years of independence, the Republic of Tajikistan has achieved great success in strengthening its statehood, improving the well-being of the people and enhancing the country's authority in the international arena. Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening the traditionally friendly and mutually beneficial relations with Tajikistan, which are based on strong ties of good neighborliness, equality, respect and mutual support.”
